To all families and residents of St. Hilda's Towers please be assured that St. Hilda's management and staff through it's Health Services Committee has a pandemic procedure in place that is focusing it's efforts on prevention. We will provide you with new information as it becomes available to us from the Ministry of Health of Ontario.

Outbreak Notice: February 20, 2010

Dear Family & Friends;

We are pleased to announce effective as of Saturday February 20th, the Ministry of Public Health will declare officially open. As you know, we have been under restrictions due to the Norwalk Virus outbreak for several weeks.

The residents and staff are so thrilled to be able to receive guests again! Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this difficult time.

We look forward to life getting back to normal and for our St. Hilda's community to thrive again!

As always, we ask that you continue to follow safety protocol by washing and sterilizing your hands and refrain from visiting residents if you are feeling ill.  We would like to remind you that the Norwalk Virus is still in the community and it is very important to adhere to the stringent hand washing and sanitizing protocol to prevent another outbreak at St. Hilda’s.  Remember stay at home if you feel ill!
